Dandelion Chat

Dandelion Chat

Make a wish, blow, and let the wind carry your words straight to a friend. No server, no database. Just two browsers holding hands.

Your meadow

Only this browser for now. Plant a meadow to invite a friend.

Tip: open the link in a second tab to try it alone, or send it to a friend on another device.

The breeze

  1. No seeds yet. Write the first wish below.

How the wind works

  1. Plant a meadow

Your browser gets a secret room name from a tiny public “matchmaker” server (PeerJS). That is all the server ever sees.

  2. Share the link

Your friend opens the link. The two browsers shake hands with WebRTC and open a direct data channel.

  3. Let it drift

Messages fly browser to browser. Tabs in the same browser also talk through BroadcastChannel, even offline.
